Black Dog Swimming is a year round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for all ages and skill levels for over 40 years. Our goals are simple: to encourage our swimmers and families to have fun while developing a high level of self-esteem, goals, sportsmanship, physical fitness, and a positive outlook.
Our certified coaches maintain a philosophy of developing our swimmers in all strokes and all distances. Many of our swimmers compete locally, some travel out of state, and others compete at national events, depending on skill level. Our coaching staff is dedicated to the sport of swimming and to continue our team’s tradition of excellence.
We run our practices out of the Burnsville School District pools located at the Burnsville High School and Eagle Ridge Junior High. We are a non-profit team operated by an elected Board of Directors. All members and families are encouraged to be involved in all team activities and fundraisers.
